  1. Dai, I'll always be impressed by your posts. I was writing one right now, I thought "man, I can't write something like Dai does", and then I refreshed and you had posted something about Flintstone Vitamins and oranges.
    Props to you. XD

  2. Dai's posts are all sorts of crazy.

  3. You don't have to be crazy to post here, but it helps.

Also forgot to mention this in the post, but once we hit episode 48, the entire TV series will be subbed. Those other subs for 49 and 50 are a bit rough around the edges, but if somebody wants to finish the show as soon as possible, they're a decent option.

  4. great, i have been waiting for more of your work, hope you'll finish soon.

  5. Get your sub on, Dai! Hombre!

  6. I do hope you decide to complete the series, those last two scripts could really use some A.X.S.U.S. quality control.

Thanks again to all of you for the great episodes released so far.

  7. Evil Elche is just too hot. Her VA gets to be all dark and serious, she wears that skin-tight suit, and she just throws knives for no reason with such precision. Man...

    Keep on truckin', AXSUS.

  14. Please please please finish. I have just discovered the series and am anxious to finish watching it. Almost tempted to try and watch the raws and hope I remember more Japanese than I think I do.

  15. 10 episodes and a movie. I think we'll never see the end of Xabungle. The situation is exactly the same as L-Gaim and SPT Layzner from other fansubbers.

  16. You girly douches need to man up and grow some patience. The guy said that it isn't over yet, so it isn't. Geez!

  17. "The situation is exactly the same as L-Gaim and SPT Layzner from other fansubbers."

Remember that the situation you describe is far preferable to the situation we would be in without these fansubbers. Without these fansubbers we would not have the episodes of these shows with English subtitles that we have. We owe them an enormous debt of gratitude and as far as I know there is no one eagerly waiting in the wings who would snap up the project and do it quickly if only these people weren't "holding them back."

  18. What you don't understand is that fansubbers aren't idols or gods; secondly, who watches these shows has respect for the fansubbers that made the episodes understandable, but also have a brain that works well.
    1) Remember that IF we hadn't these fansubbers, we could have others that worked faster on the same project.
    2) About gratitude: gratitude is something that you gain from something. So thank you for the past episodes, but I can't give you more gratitude for something you haven't done yet.

  19. If you're going to complain and whine so much, why don't you sub it yourself?

  20. I'm pretty sure there's no secret group of people wanting to sub Xabungle that would pick up the job if only we didn't exist. It's not like you can only have one group working on a fansub or anything. But hey, if I'm wrong, speak up guys. I'd love to see the show finished faster and would support anybody willing to do so, whether they wanted to join AXSUS or do it on their own.

But you are certainly right about one thing: we are not idols or gods. I can't speak for my companions, but I for one don't particularly want to be either of those. I'm just a guy with reasonable Japanese skills who likes Xabungle. If people enjoy our subs, that's enough of a reward for me.

Oh, and there's a new episode coming out soon.

  23. You guys are doing a great job! Keep it up! I enjoy immensely your work! I don't have any understanding of japanese, so I'm unable to lend a hand. But, you have all my support! (And,for the 50th episode release party, the drinks are on me!)

  24. Gambatte!
    Don't give up the fight!
    Win!
    We're cheering for you!

  25. Keep it up! In the end, delays do not diminish the awesomeness of having subbed Xabungle. I would offer to help but I am shit at understanding Japanese and that renders me completely useless to this kind of endeavor. Moral support 100% however!

  26. Keep going, we are patient, specially for such a quality job. You guys are the best!

  27. 10 Left Guys! You are past over the hill! Many of us fans believe in you! Thanks for all the Xabungle you have done so far!

Speaking of this, are there any specific tasks that another person helping WOULD speed things up? I most of the people waiting probably don't have strong Japanese skills, but I know that for something like this there are other things that need to be done like typesetting and editing.

After all, I'm sure there ARE plenty of people who would be happy to help in stuff like that if it means getting Xabungle out a little faster. I know I could certainly contribute to editing personally.

And actually now that I've opened up an .ass I'm pretty sure I could handle that as well. Mind point here being that if you want, need, or even could just use more help, well, saying so is really not going to hurt.

  29. I bet I could get translators to help out, and I have editing/ typesetting experience as part of "gattai". You just need to actually say what would help you speed things along.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Translation is the big hold-up for most episodes. My social life in Korea has not quite matched my nom de plume, so I haven't had time and/or energy to translate episodes on a regular basis, and I was never as fast as Denkou to begin with. If there are any translators willing to help out, get in touch with us. Even a very rough translation would speed up the job at least a little bit, since I would only need to fine tune it.

  31. How should translators contact you?

    Fight the good fight. :)

  34. What an incredible show. Just the right mix of action and comedy. I have powered through all 40 released eps in a few days and I am in love with this show. I look back at how long this project has been going on and it blows my mind to think about the kind of dedication it takes to keep going after all these years. I cannot thank those responsible for getting these subs out enough!

  35. You guys are amazing I'm so glad in the past few years so many people have decided to dedicate their time to subbing these great giant robot shows of the past. Thank you so much for your time and effort :D
