Everybody, download!

The video file

Two .asses (one without insert song and one with)

I uploaded the video file before we had the final .ass this time, that's why you have to download them separately. Oh, and stay until the end of the credits for a special message.

Oh, and then there's this shiny new batch torrent you might want if you haven't downloaded any episodes before...

  15. I posted in the /m/ thread but wanted to put it here, too: You guys are pretty great. Thank you for your hard work and dedication through the many, many issues that Xabungle subbing has had.

Now I just need to find a good day to marathon it (and figure out where I left off).

  17. I had completely lost track of this project until I decided to look for an anime I hadn't finished yet...and I find this. Way behind on this and I intend to finish it now that the whole show is subbed. Thanks a lot :)

Congratulations on finishing Xabungle. I admit I'm late in watching your work, but I'll do it, as I really apreciate the 8 episodes of Xabungle I watched back in the VHS days, when they were fansubbed by some group (Nautilus, if I'm not mistaken).

    ReplyDelete
  19. Congratulations...
Now that Xabungle is finished, are you going to sub anything else???

  20. @Hal: Feel free to suggest any robot anime worth mentioning; that's what we commenters did last time.

  21. At /m/Subs I suggested they could make a fix on the subs of Dragonar, but they told me someone was already on it...
So I was thinking maybe Lazerion??? Gold Lightan??? Another of the J9 series (not the one made by Crinn) Or maybe Baratack...

Is this different to the batch torrent in any way other than the subs being muxed with the video? The filesizes seem a little different.

    1. Nope, it is just the muxed version. The filesize difference is due to how MKV handles stuff compared to AVI. It contains all the subtitles (even the insert song subs, and when they are present they are set as default, with the non-insert versions as the second subtitle track).

  23. @Hal: Really? Last I checked, nobody's worked on Dragonar in ages now.

That aside, those are some good suggestions for the most part (specially since Gold Lightan has already been witnessed by the US via TatsuCap :D).

  24. First off, ten gun salute to all of the dudes and dudettes who work to make these dreams a reality. Six years back when I first watched a video of Super Robot Wars on YouTube, I was a fledgling American mecha fan who didn't think I'd ever get to play those games. Then three years later, Alpha Gaiden is released for Christmas. Forget everything else I got, that was my gift. Now I'm watching Xabungle, that cool mecha series from the video game I never thought I'd be able to play and the anime series I never thought I'd be able to watch. Do you guys know how rare even the RAW episodes are? The only episode I ever got to watch was 28 on YouTube which I think was taken down.

Now we're here. I have every episode of Xabungle at my disposal, MX is on its way in the mail (the first SRW game I will ever legitimately own), and Alpha is in the works by other awesome folks who thought it was important enough to slave over for an anonymous net dweller like me. As long as people like you exist, I will never stop loving mecha.

  25. Will there be Graffiti?

I'm kidding. Nice work, I'm enjoying this series so far.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Are you thinking of doing even Graffiti? Pleeeeease :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. Graffiti has been confirmed. It's just a matter of time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. thanks so much!

please email me or pm me at ADC if you want help getting the ISO for Graffiti. I can ftp it to AXSUS if that would help expidite the process of it getting subbed.

  29. Do you guys have links to all the episodes?

    ReplyDelete
  30. It will nevere happen ;_;

    ReplyDelete
  31. seems so... :/ tho I still hope for the best ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. At the very least, I'm thankful we still have the whole series (which is more than can be said for most vintage giant robot shows that were partially-subbed). :D

  33. How in the HELL did I not know about this until now?! I'd heard tell that SOMEONE was working on a Xabungle sub a couple years back but could never find the group... and now, without even looking, well after having given up hope... here it is. Wow. Thanks guys, you deserve medals. And/Or High Fives. You earned it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thx! :)

Are you planning on doing Graffiti?
Then Xabungle will be fully complete.

    Once again, Thank you.

  35. Hello, I am doing a blog post about fansubbing and the opinions of other tokusatsu fansubbing groups and wanted to know if I could possibly get your opinion on the matter. If you are interested, please contact me at alphamechnexon@yahoo.com

  36. What the hell is Graffiti and why do we want it?

    ReplyDelete
  37. In the February 26, 2012 post you guys mentioned finding higher quality raws and mentioned you were going to eventually put your subs on those. Did you already do that and that's in the batch torrent? Or was that dropped because you were burnt out on the project after completing the translation (very understandable)?

    ReplyDelete
  38. YES PLEASE!
At least let us know if you're still on it...

  39. The excellent Let's Anime blog has just posted a translation of a Xabungle children's book. http://letsanime.blogspot.com/2013/10/you-know-for-kids.html
