Bad news: There won't be another episode until early August due to a bug in the subbing grid of our mobile fortress.
Good news: You'll get at least two episodes in the next release for sure, probably more.
Now enjoy episode 33:

Xabungle 49 released... by someone else
Wing1999 released a torrent of episode 49 earlier today. We'd like to invite him/her to join AXSUS, but there was no contact information included, so this post is an attempt at getting the word out there. If anybody knows more about Wing1999, please contact us either through the blog comments or by e-mail (my address is daironeri@yahoo.com).
EDIT: Mystery solved thanks to Nanto, see comments for the details.

I'm a poor, lonesome translator...
Well, you might have noticed that we haven't released a new episode in a long time. The nefarious subninjas have been using their most vile mind tricks to screw with Denkou's brain during the last few months and he is now unable to continue working on Xabungle. However, this doesn't mean that the project will be dropped: I'm taking up the entire translation duty with Sardien continuing as the timer/editor. I am currently working on my Master's thesis, but I should have enough time to translate at least two episodes each month until September. Then I'll be heading to Korea for a year to research Super Taekwon V and I'm not sure how much time for subbing I will have while I'm there, but I promise you that this show will be finished one way or another.
We have lost a hero to our glorious and noble cause, but does this foreshadow our defeat? No. It is a new beginning. Compared to subninjas, the national resources of AXSUS are less than one thirtieth of theirs. Despite this major difference, how is it that we have been able to fight the fight for so long? It is because our goal in this war is a righteous one.
Now salute Denkou for his great work as a member of our team and then click on the links below to download episode 31.

Episode 30 in mid-april
Well, I figure I should post something so that the April Fool's joke won't stay on top of the news! Episode 30 is gonna come in mid-April, after I'm done with my semester. After that I've got a job for summer, and that means less work than university, so you'll get a lot of episodes in summer! In fact, it all might finish before fall - make sure you stay tuned.
And now the rest of the post is just rambling about April Fool's and Taekwon V, so you can skip that if you like, or you can read if you like me.
The first plan was just to sub in our three native languages, but one guy couldn't make it and ~11 million speakers isn't a lot, so we thought of that joke. It was supposed to be "Xabungle is licensed", but Zeonic-Corps beat us to that, so we had to make up something. I know nobody seems to have bought it in the /m/ thread, I'm a bit sad about that but I'm also relieved that we didn't sadden too many folks. XD
I hadn't seen the .rar myself... oh god, this is terrible. This is a movie? Mazinger Z TV had better animation... Omg is that general Revil? What the hell is going on? Why is there a talking teapot?? What what there's a live action movie coming in 2010-2011!?!?

"We will strive to turn Robot Taekwon V into a world-famous brand winning hearts and minds of people around the globe as Mickey Mouse, Gundam, and Atom do"... huh... hmmm... sure. The worst thing is I know me and some other /m/ tripfags will buy tickets to see it in the Montreal movie festival of 2011. Well, it can't be worst than upcoming the american Gaiking CG movie... or can it.
I'm surprised there's actually someone who looked at out our obscure-languages-sub; I might do Quebec subs for myself just for the lulz in the future at the same time as the English ones, if you want them you can drop me a line at fggallant at gmail and I can feed you by email.
That's all!
See you in 1 or 2 weeks for another episode.

No more Xabungle - new project
You might have noticed that the time between the releases is getting longer and longer every time. I'll just tell the truth here... I'm not as motivated anymore. It's been more than a year, and the flame of passion I had about Xabungle has sort of died out. With university and all, it was getting hard for me to invest what little free time in translating something that I only liked moderately.
As a final Xabungle project, Dai and I translated episode 1 in our mother tongue, Finnish and Quebec French respectively. Knowing that there are only 5~6 million speakers of each, it was just a little treat for ourselves, and we've had fun with that.

However, that doesn't mean AXSUS is dead. While we know you'll be sad about the loss of Xabungle, we discussed and decided to start on a new series we know all Xabungle fans will love. As AXSUS was originally planning to release Xabungle Graffiti and then the TV series, this time we'll go with this formula. Here's the movie, and we'll start subbing the TV series next week, knowing that you Xabungle fans will like it:
